Form follows function

Here is an example of a storage tank in the middle of a place that smelled like asphalt and was decaying all around. BUT WAIT! this piece of beauty was waiting to be seen there. This is something that was made for strictly utilitarian purposes, to store who knows what. THE FUNCTION
but seen in this way I like the form,This is opposed to some of the cool looking furniture which isn't very comfortable where function follows form. even though looking pretty had nothing to do with its original purpose it looks cool and it's out there in the forgotten landscape waiting to be seen and appreciated. Kind of funny , but kind of cool.

what do you see?

What do you see when you are looking around? Do you just see the utilitarian purpose behind things. Do you try to look away from things that are "ugly"
Stop and appreciate the "ignored landscape" for it's design in it's own right. More on this idea to come as always

The Scream!

Here is the Scene inside, and the scream coming out!
This is the head from a c.p.r. dummy I found on location and placed him in the frame.
He's in the trunk of my car now,
he might turn up again someday......
